We’re Hiring – Sales & Business Development Lead

We’re are seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Lead (Lagos) to support the growth of our client’s market reach and revenue streams.
This role will focus on identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with stockists, distributors, and retail partners, and driving sales expansion. The ideal candidate will be strategic, persuasive, and passionate about brand growth.
𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬
𝐁𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 & 𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐬 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧
• Identify and onboard new stockists, distributors, and retail partners to expand our client’s presence.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the retail and distribution sector.
• Research and explore new business opportunities, partnerships, and potential collaborations.
• Assist in negotiating contracts, pricing structures, and promotional partnerships.
• Conduct competitor analysis and market research to identify trends and opportunities
for growth.
• Work closely with the marketing and sales teams to implement sales-driven campaigns.
𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭 & 𝐑𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭
• Act as the primary liaison between our client and its retailers, stockists, and distributors.
• Ensure existing business partners receive adequate support to maximize sales potential.
• Regularly check in with partners to gather insights, address concerns, and improve
partnerships.
• Monitor and analyze sales performance across different distribution channels.
𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐬 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐲 & 𝐑𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐮𝐞 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐭𝐡
• Support in developing and executing business growth strategies aligned with the company’s goals.
• Work with the internal team to develop proposals, presentations, and business pitches.
• Identify and implement strategies to increase revenue and market share.
• Track and report key business metrics to assess growth, profitability, and effectiveness
of initiatives.
𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬 (𝐊𝐏𝐈𝐬)
• Growth in stockist and distributor acquisition.
• Increase in sales revenue from partnerships.
• Expansion into new markets or sales channels.
• Strength and sustainability of client relationships.
• Success of business growth strategies and campaigns.
𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management.
• Strong understanding of B2B sales, partnerships, and market expansion strategies.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Highly analytical with the ability to identify opportunities and drive strategic initiatives.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office, CRM software, and sales reporting tools is an advantage.
